Bruce Jenkins Captain Australian PREVIOUS YACHTS: MY INFINITY PACIFIC, MY BROADWAY, MY TURQUOISE, MY SILENTWORLD, MY CHLOE I, MY CONSTELLATION, MY SHADOW OTHER VESSELS: Yacht Deliveries and Ferries _____________________________ BRUCE HAS CRUISED: Australia – North to South and East to West, and the Great Barrier Reef extensively; New Zealand; and the South Pacific including Fiji, French Polynesia; Turkey. _____________________________
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Bruce launched his career in the yachting industry in 2003 after years as a business owner (including owning his own fleet of yachts in Cairns and Southport, Queensland). His vast experience and knowledge of Australia’s coastal waters make him your perfect host on board MASTEKA 2, and when the oceans call, Bruce’s international certifications ensure the ultimate safety.
Among other qualifications, Bruce holds a Master unrestricted all oceans for vessels under 500GT and OOW unlimited tonnage (Australian certifications also endorsed by Cayman Islands Registry), as well as an MED 1 engineering certification.
Bruce has taken command of an array of private and charter vessels, working with distinctive Owners and Charter Guests from different nationalities. He has managed yard and refit periods, commercial structures for superyacht owners, transport and shipping logistics, and delivered vessels between Australia, New Zealand, and all the way to French Polynesia.
In his personal time, Bruce enjoys racing inshore and offshore with the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (he has been a member for 20 years), snow skiing, music, theatre, ballet and opera. He holds an Open Water Diver Certificate since 1990 and the underwater world attracts him as much as the surface where all watersports take place! _____________ Unique Fact: Bruce also rides a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in his spare time. _____________
Damon Tonnet First Officer Australian PREVIOUS YACHTS: MY ELEMENT DAMON HAS CRUISED: Australia: Sydney, the Whitsundays, North Queensland, and the Great Barrier Reef ________________________ Holding a Master Degree in Marine Biology, Damon has worked on remote islands in Australian waters as a boating officer, prior to discovering the yachting industry and the opportunity to travel on the world’s oceans.
The operational side of superyachts attracted him as much as the ability to create amazing experiences for guests on board, showing them the best of his native country. Damon grew up in Sydney, and one of his dream itineraries would be to set sail from Sydney to Cairns stopping on the way to some of Australia’s most beautiful locations.
When he is not on board MASTEKA 2, Damon enjoys surfing, fishing, skiing, plays rugby and… he was a professional tennis player in his teenage years!
Willow Lewis Second Stewardess New Zealander PREVIOUS YACHTS: MY UBIQUITOUS, MV CORAL DISCOVER _______________________ WILLOW HAS CRUISED: Australia including the Kimberley, and Tasmania; Papua New Guinea, The Solomon Islands, New Zealand. _______________________ Willow grew up on boats as her parents owned a cruise boat company in New Zealand. They would host overnight charters in Auckland Harbour, and her father would take her on the tender to a wharf and then put her in a taxi to school: rain or shine! Willow started waitressing when she was about 12 years old and received her first tip ($20): that was the moment where she knew she loved to serve guests and share her smile!
So far one of her favourite experiences was visiting Papua New Guinea’s villages and playing soccer with the kids. She has also been lucky to visit the Bahamas and loves jetskiing around its clear water, but when not on the water four-wheel-driving is where you could find her.
Willow was a Butler and Personal Assistant prior to joining the yachting industry, and we are delighted to have her on board combining her excellent skills and attention for detail with a contagious smile.

Sam hails from the Northern Beaches of Sydney and has been a crew member of Masteka 2 since early 2019. Superyachting allows him to apply his maritime knowledge and experience while travelling to remote and exotic locations.
His time on the water has been spent predominantly near Sydney Harbour as well as deliveries along Australia's spectacular eastern coastline. On a clear, crisp, winter's morning Sam can be found out past the heads at the helm, observing the annual migration of humpback whales from Antarctica to the Coral Sea. When not on the water he enjoys motorbike riding, cooking, cycling, and reading. ___________
