Captain– Panagiotis Gaglias
Captain Panagiotis was born in 1974 and he is a Greek national. He holds an A Class Captain’s Diploma . Captain Panagiotis comes from the island of Ikaria where he had his own ship agency. He has many years’ experience as he started his career back in 1991. He has worked on various motor and sailing yachts such as M/Y Lady KK, M/Y O’Mega, S/Y Sunfos and M/Y Dinaia among others. He joined M/Y Vera in 2023. Captain Panagiotis is a very experienced Captain who will show to the clients all the amazing places and offer them an unforgettable cruise. He speaks English and at his free time he enjoys sports and theatre.

Chief officer– Angelos Kyriazis
Angelos was born in 1969, he is a Greek national and he holds a Captain’s C certificate. He started his yachting career in 2006 and since then he served onboard various motor yachts gaining great experience. Some of them are M/Y O’rion, M/Y O’neiro, M/Y Elegant 007, M/Y O’mega, M/Y Pathos and M/Y Jaan. He is a valuable and respected crew member, essential part of the team. Experienced at most water sports himself; Angelos is responsible for all watersports instruction on-board and he is also an open water diver. Whether assisting in the navigation of Vera or using the tender guests can always feel safe and confident in the most capable of hands. He speaks English and he enjoys all water sports and kung fu.

Chief Engineer – Alexandros Fotis
Alexandros was born in 1970 and he is a Greek national. He studied at the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos and holds an Engineer’s class A’ diploma. He is organizing all aspects of the yacht operation. He has worked on all types of vessels and during his 20 years’ experience he has obtained great knowledge in mechanical maintenance as well as in automation and safety systems. He joined M/Y Vera in 2023. Alexandros ensures that everything works smoothly onboard. Some of his hobbies are jogging and reading and he speaks English.

Engineer – Antonis Kovaios
Antonis is a Geek national, born in 1980. He holds a bachelor degree in Marchant Marine Engineering and he has all the necessary qualifications for this position including experience in motor yachts. Antonis is a dedicated person with great communication skills and focuses on the proper maintenance and operation of the engines and their auxiliary systems. He enjoys basketball and he speaks English.



Chef – Ilias Chrysovergis
Ilias is a Greek national. He holds a Chef’s diploma from Palmie Academy and a Chef’s Diploma from IEK Domi in Athens. Ilias has attended numerous seminars in meat craftsmanship, menu construction, food cost and HAACP. He started his carrier in 2004 and since then he was worked in numerous resorts and gourmet restaurants. From 2011 until 2020 he worked abroad in La Bouchée French restaurant in Czech Republic for 2 years and then in Paris at Mavrommatis Michelin restaurant and then at his own restaurant Elia at Versailles. Ilias is exceptional, a Chef with a great knowledge of gastronomy techniques. He is very creative and competent and his delicious dishes can satisfy the most demanding guests. Ilias speaks English, French and he enjoys travelling.


Chief Stewardess: Peppy Pontikakou
Peppy was born in 1976 in Greece. She joined yachting in 2005and during her long career she served as Chief Stewardess on board M/Y Proteus, M/Y Allegra, M/Y Avant Garde , M/Y Alexandra and M/Y Capri I among others. Peppy joined Vera’s team in 2023. She has attended various seminars and holds certificates in Management & Leadership, Wine & Spirits, Yacht Service level 3, Spirits & Mixology all from the Crew Academy in France, Food safety in Catering from the City and Guilds of London. In addiotin has attended seminars for Sommelier and for HACCP. She is extremely professional with excellent organisational skills, very active with a lovely and friendly personality. She is hardworking, responsible and always gives her outmost to offer a flawless service. She speaks English and basic Italian. She loves spending time with her family and her hobbies are swimming, cinema and travelling.

2ND Steward – Spyros Karandinos
Spyros was born in 1976 and he is a Greek national. Spyros holds certificates in Food & Beverage management, Bar & Restaurant management, VIP Service and an Open Sailing diploma. Spyros has been working in the yachting industry since 2016; before joining M/Y Vera he has worked onboard M/Y Jazzy B, M/Y Ypsilon and M/Y Lucky Me. He is a capable professional ensuring the highest attention to details and service to the guests. His skills include Silver Service and Fine dining, Cocktail mixology, Wine pairing, interior detailing etc. Spyros speaks English

Bosun – Rossano Ronaldo
Ronaldo is 49 years old, is a Philippine national. He has been in Greece since he was 17 years old. He holds a speed boat license and he has worked on various yachts. He is with Vera’s owner since 2004. He speaks Greek & English. He enjoys all watersports.


Deckhand –Jeffrey Erguiza
Jeffrey was born in 1981, and he is a Philippine national. He started his career in yachting in 2008 and since them has worked on various yachts such as S/Y Corelia, M/Y Vera, M/Y Blue Pleasure, M/Y Synthesis, M/Y Rola and M/Y Stafania. He holds a speed boat license and he helps with the water toys as well as the other deck hand and bosun. He speaks English & Greek


Deckhand – Michalis Achladis
Michalis is a Greek national born in 1985. He holds a Chief officer diploma and all the necessary certificates for his position. He holds also a bachelor in Business Administration. Michalis has worked on board many commercial and passenger vessels since 2012. He loves assisting with the water toys as well as his team. He speaks English and in his free time he enjoys sports and cinema.
